Open Eyes Art Festival until November 23 in Krakow, and from the 24th Christmas Market
In November, we can once again encounter an interesting branch of art in Krakow. More than a hundred artists are participating in the festival, with whom it will be possible to meet, as well as to take part in conferences. Of course, various exhibitions await those interested. Painting, sculpture, dance, theater, film, photography, graphics, and music – all these art disciplines come together in the Open Eyes Art Festival organized since 2021. Meanwhile, from November 24 to January 1, the Christmas Market will take place at the Main Market Square in Krakow.
The series of artistic events (OEAF) is a complementary part of the Open Eyes Economy Summit Congress, which will be held on November 21 and 22 at ICE Krakow. This year there will be 15 various events, here are some examples:
- at the Tadeusz Kantor Studio at Sienna Street and the ASP Museum, visitors will be able to see the artist's drawings from the Stefania and Dario Piga Roman collection. The exhibition “Tadeusz Kantor Café Europe” will open on November 13,
- the 10th edition of the exhibition cycle “Space for Art”, whose heroes will be Krystyna and Jerzy Nowakowski. Three exhibitions comprehensively presenting the artists' works will fill the White Gallery of the Nowa Huta Cultural Center (November 16) and the spaces of Krakow universities: ASP Gallery (November 14) and GAP Gallery (November 15) at the University of Economics,
- the exhibition “Regulated Modernity. Modernism in the Polish People’s Republic” prepared by the National Museum

“At the exhibition, you can see a series of paintings, photographs, objects, installations. There are minimalist compositions, but also very elaborate collections,” explained Lena Witkowska, one of the Open Art curators. “Every year brings certain tendencies in themes and events, which at first glance seem like an unrelated collection of varied visions. As a curatorial team, we have developed the concept of finding common points among these projects,” said Lena Witkowska.
